Howdy there. It's been a minute hasn't it?

Let's not talk about that though. I am back, you are back, we are here, and its time to ring in the new year.

Why journal everyday during the busiest time of the year? great question. I have no idea.

HA. jk. I know why I am doing this and why I am encouraging you to journal as well. It's a free gift. It is five minutes of focus time that doesn't have to be labeled as productivity. It is five minutes where all you have to do is answer a question and give yourself a moment of respite from all the chaos! so write a paragraph, write a page, or write a novel. Just write.

I could talk endlessly about journaling, but I won't do that today. Today, is just the day where I leave all of the prompts for this year's Journal-mas. If you want to read my long winded thoughts on journaling check out last years blog. It will likely be a more riveting read than this dump of words.

but without further ado, here are the prompts!

Day 1: What article of clothing makes you feel most like yourself? why?

Day 2: What is a song that feels like it was written for you? write out the lyrics.

Day 3: What did your backpack/s look like in elementary school?

Day 4: If someone handed you a fifty dollar bill and you had to spend it in an hour, what would you buy?

Day 5: When was the first time you remember failing yourself?

Day 6: Take a deep breathe. What are you feeling right now?

Day 7: What was the first cd you ever owned?

Day 8: What was a goal from last year that you gave up on?

Day 9: What is your favorite nickname people call you? who gave it to you?

Day 10: Who is someone you are excited to give a gift to this year?

Day 11: What is a hobby you have always wanted to try?

Day 12: Quick! what are you thinking about right now. Write it down.

I hope these prompts bring light to your day and stillness to your season. If you are going through a hard time or feeling lost, take heart! It's raining somewhere.
